Why herbal medicine?

As you may have read in my profile, I have been through many, many physical traumas in the last ten years. One major trauma is the the pharmacological one.

How can pain be extinguished?

After 17 surgeries in 2 years, I was sent to a pain management specialist....
This "specialist" (otherwise known as the doper) gave me prescription after prescription for METHADONE that's right, methadone!!!

I lost memories and almost lost my mind with these meds.

There had to be a better way!!!!

After reading everything on the web (don't believe me, ask my family and friends....) about meds and the side effects. I decided to drop this loser of a a doctor and go to a very special neurologist who understood what I was going through.

He told me to check into a clinic to detox from the meds. Me being headstrong and thinking I could handle it myself, proceeded to detox myself. Well into the third week of detox, (gradually reducing the meds) I went into a frenzy.....my skin was crawling and I could not stop shaking....
My dear neurologist told me "take one a day!!!" So, I did for another week before eliminating the drug completely.

A side note: The methadone did not alleviate the pain, it just numbed my brain....

My pain is still with me as narcotics do not kill nerve pain.

My neuro has given me trigger point injections and even Botox. This stops the nerves from bunching up and sending triggers to the muscles to knot up...

I am not comfortable with the shots, not the shots themselves, the drugs being injected into my body.

After going through the horror of the detox, I didn't want to continue to poison myself.

Now here's the good part!!

GOD gave us the medicines we need in the plants in our own backyards!

Genesis 1:29-30, which states,

"And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. ³⁰And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, where-in there is life, I have given every green herb for meat; and it was so."

See, God gave us these plants!
